The Description
Brogue Derby lace up ankle boot featuring a Goodyear Welted leather sole. Murdoch has a hand-painted dark brown leather upper, and is made in India. These hand-painted shoes are unique in the way they are finished, with colour added in layers over a natural base to create a deep rich and truly individual patina.
Please note: Only our water-based creams should be used to moisturise the leather and retain depth of colour. Any solvent-based wax or cream will strip painted leather finishes and should be avoided.
The Last
Ridge
Our most popular last in the Design Loake range, Ridge has an elongated toe with a squared off finish. Ridge gets its name from the ridge upon the top of the shoe, toward the front. It should fit true to size, but like Matrix and Blade especially, it has extra cosmetic length in the front.
