Extended Christmas returns: As a thank you for your continued support, we have extended our returns policy for the Christmas period. Therefore, any orders placed online via loake.com after 1st November 2024 and before 18th December 2024, must be returned by Monday 13th January 2025 to qualify.

Any orders placed before 1st November 2024 or after 18th December 2024 fall within our standard 28 day return policy.

Delivery - UK and International

We are proud to announce that Loake Shoemakers will now be delivering Worldwide. At first we will be despatching to a selected range of countries, which excludes any within Europe. But don't worry, if you do not see your country via the country selector, be assured we are working on it and do have others coming soon.

For all queries in regards to our deliveries, see the below sections.

All orders over £30 are sent FREE of carriage charges, via Royal Mail.

Orders placed prior to 13.00 GMT are sent same working day* (Monday-Friday only). Orders placed after 13.00 GMT will be sent the following working day.

*During sale periods, we cannot guarantee despatch of your order on the same day. Orders might be despatched with a slight delay, as our warehouse team gets very busy. As always, we will endeavour to get your order to you as quickly as possible, we apologise for the inconvenience.

We do not currently despatch on a Saturday or Sunday.

Tracking details will be emailed upon the day of despatch.

If you have not received your delivery within 5 working days of despatch*, please contact our online store.

All our orders are despatched on a service which will require the goods to be signed for, so you may prefer to specify a business address etc when ordering, but please note that we are unable to change the delivery address once an order has been placed.

We offer delivery outside the UK to multiple countries Worldwide. To see if we deliver to your country please click on the country flag in the top left hand corner of our website and see if your country appears in the 'Delivery Location' dropdown.

Delivery costs for each of the countries will be displayed at the checkout when placing your order.

We do offer delivery free of carriage charges, but this is only available when a minimum order amount is reached. Minimum order values vary depending on country to country.

All orders for delivery outside the UK will be sent on a trackable service via DHL.

Tracking details will be emailed upon acceptance into your country.

Orders placed will be sent the following working day, and we do not currently despatch on a Saturday or Sunday.

Local taxes may be applicable outside the UK, these will be shown at the checkout.

USA ONLY: All customers wishing to order for delivery to USA should be aware of the Duty threshold of $800. Any orders placed over the value of $800 may be charged additional duties and fees at the checkout.

CANADA ONLY: Any customers purchasing any styles made in our High Grade factory in India may incur additional import tax. The product origin can be clearly found within the product description.

Returns - UK and International

If, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your order, you can return them to us for a full refund within 28 days of receiving your order.

Please note, that orders placed online or over the telephone cannot be returned to our high street stores.

Exchanges: Unfortunately at this present time we are unable to offer exchanges to any customers placing orders online. If you wish to swap your item(s), then please send your order in as stated above and then place a fresh new order for your new item(s).

We offer FREE returns on all orders within the UK.

A Royal Mail free returns label will be included with your despatch. Please repackage the items as appropriate and attach the label to the outside of the parcel.

Please note - you will need to retain your proof of postage receipt from the Post Office, Loake cannot be held liable for any missing returns where there is no proof of postage available.

Goods are to be returned from outside the UK at the customer’s expense.

Alternatively, goods may be returned using your own choice of carrier.

It is essential that the customs form and parcel label includes “returning unsuitable goods to sender” and that the “returned goods” box is ticked on the customs form. Loake will not be responsible for any customs and clearance duties incurred if you use your own method for returns, and these fees will be charged to you.

Non-UK Exchanges: Unfortunately at this present time we are unable to offer exchanges to any customers placing orders from outside of the UK. If you wish to swap your item(s), then please send your order in as stated above and then place a fresh new order for your new item(s).

All Orders

It is very important that items to be refunded on are returned to us in a saleable condition. They must be unworn and still in the original packaging with any labels, swing-tags, etc. still attached. We cannot accept items for return where there is wear visible – when trying footwear on, please do not crease the uppers or scratch the finish on the soles.

Please complete the returns form contained with your original order and enclose it with your items to be returned.

On receipt of the returned goods, we will refund to the original method of payment the full price paid for the items returned to us.

Please note - you will need to retain your proof of postage receipt from the Post Office, Loake cannot be held liable for any missing returns where there is no proof of postage available

Refunds can take up to 14 working days from receipt to be processed. Loake will email confirmation of your return and refund once completed.

Any duty incurred upon receipt of returned items will be recovered from the customer.
